Week 1

We are introduced on what is going to happen for this module and explained the MIB. After that we are shown the clients and we can choose on our own. We must form a group of 5-7 with maximum of 3 individuals with the same specialization. I choose Expedio Design with their new innovative whiteboard called "X-board". I ended up part ways with my friends and picked a group that wants Expedio.

Week 2

We had a couple meetings before our second week class. We use google meet and we discuss on who is going to research on what. I researched on the indirect competitors of X-board such as Miro and Interactive white board(IWB). For the second meeting we discussed on what questions we are going to ask for expedio. We consult with the lecturer if its necessary or appropriate to ask. We finalized on the questions for next week's interview with expedio.

Week 3

In the third week, our team finalized the contextual research and compared it with the insights we gathered from our client meeting. After confirming the key details, we worked on the empathy map to better understand both the client’s goals and the target audience's needs. I helped contribute to this process, ensuring we captured the broader perspective of our target users. Additionally, we started creating user personas, which were crucial for guiding our upcoming data collection efforts. I also reviewed the survey questions that were drafted by the team, ensuring they aligned with the user personas and objectives.

Week 4

We collected responses from the google form after it was approved by Mr. Mike. We send out to agile workspace workers, creative teams, corporate decision-makers and educational institutions. I sent out to my friends that worked in creative teams and agile workspace, also some that are corporate decision-makers. Also I sent a few lecturers.

Week 6

We had scheduled an online meeting for Week 6 to go over the results of Celeste's interviews. The changed structure for the three personas was helped by those interviews. In the top five ideas area, we enumerated the problems and observations and categorized them. We have only identified three themes thus far, but those categories can help us find the main one. After getting Mr. Mike's approval for our theme identification, we proceed to draft the problem statement.

Week 7

This week, I sketched out a few ideas for the logo for the x-board. After that, I made a few key visuals for the art direction. So, I made a few and most of it is scrap until one that matches what the x-board visual looks like. I made a simple vector illustration and a few lines that are catchy yet simple.

Week 9

To work on the Customer Journey Map, we held a conversation this week. We talked about the steps, needs, and pain points of every phase, including awareness and discovery, registration, onboarding, and initial use, as well as sharing.

Week 10-12

I got the part for the Website, from research, wireframe, and the design. So this week I was planning the user flow with Janice while researching on other websites for reference. I did visual reference for the website from Pinterest, dribbly, awwwards, etc.

In week 11 I continued on making the main page. After that, we had an online meeting to discuss the advertising and promotional plan and also discussed the main page. I’m still making the low fidelity which has many placeholder texts, images, etc. Which makes me worried about the high fidelity.

In week 12 I did the UI guide and fixing all the button sizes to be more consistent. After that I have to list out the animation that we are going to use for the website.

In week 13, I started making the high fidelity website prototype. Change the black and white color to the color palette made. Then in class I fixed the colors of the website and cleaned some of the boxes that were unnecessary.  I fixed a bit of the component that Janice made because it's a different size. At the end of the week we found out that our main red color is slightly brighter than the original expedio's color. So I changed the red from the library and changed the graphical elements.

In the final week I did some simple user test of the website with my friends. It needed a little bit of changes like the main page, buttons, outlines, etc. Upload the figma into embed in the slides and also upload them in the drive from the prototype to draft 1 and 2 until the final design.
