INSTRUCTIONS

Project 2

On our first practical class we had an exercise and following that we have to form a group consist of 7-10 people for our project 2. We discussed via WhatsApp for our presentation on week 2. We have to make an infographic animation and we decided that we are going to do about water pollution especially sea pollution in Southeast Asia.

We split out task for script, voice over, storyboard, animation, and I choose to do sound design and editing. While I wait for all of the animators are not done with the animation yet and also the voice overs I searched for audio from the internet such as Youtube, free sounds, Adobe sounds, etc.

Draft

After done with the draft which is an undone animation I continued to compile and do the final video. I have to make another sequence and combine the videos from different animators by looking at the script and storyboard.

I found some minor things that can be adjusted like adding a smooth closing and opening with dip to black and adjusting the volume for a few sound effects as well. Also, I share the subtitle task to Justin and Jovan because they asked for more task. Since the premiere pro can't detect the words they're saying it is fair to share the task to them since they did the voice over.

Reflection

This project required our group to collaborate effectively to stay on track and complete the animated infographic within the given timeframe. The process, from selecting a theme to finalizing visuals, was both challenging and rewarding. Each member contributed their ideas, research, and skills in scripting, illustrating, animating, and editing. Despite some challenges, we overcame them through feedback and teamwork. Ultimately, this experience reinforced the importance of collaboration and demonstrated the power of visual storytelling in conveying complex information effectively.
