Project 3 Stop motion

Project 3

This project is must be made with a partner. So we need to have make a 60 seconds. We planned on the story right after Mr. Martin told us about the final project. We use everything from the studio. We did not buy anything extra. All we do is sculpt the clay and use a car model that is already been made by another person.

The real-life action series intro to the well-known comedy series "Mr. Bean" served as our main source of inspiration. However, we created the plot on our own and used exaggeration to emphasize the need for safety.

We have to edit the photos one by one because we used sticks as the holder. I edited the photo using photoshop.

I use motion blur effect on the car so it looked better on the video. I supposed to edit the drop on the alien goo, but it was too late to start over.

I also use motion blur for the boulder, use different angle of the blur. This is supposed to be done for the alien also.

I use photoshop to gather all the photos and edit it one by one. After export my partner combine it into a video and add some sound effect and text.

fig 1.7, Final Adjustments(Premiere Pro)

After I take a look on the video my partner did(which is already good) I edit few scenes and adjusted few of the audio and add voices on the captions. I added a background audio so the video does not feel empty and stage like. I added more sound effects, changed a few of it, and delete some of it.

Reflection

Although I was familiarized with stop-motion long time ago. The whole experience felt exposing how I've leveled up a bit in making it. This new project in this creative space throws in fresh challenges and cool opportunities, with software and gadget upgrades adding more possibilities. Reflecting on it all, my passion for stop motion is reignited. Collaborating with Nathan is fun, also His insights and comments really aided the entire creative process..
